[Firebird-odbc-devel] Firebird ODBC and Access

I have installed the Firebird ODBC driver on an XP SP2 pc.
When I try configure the link in the ODBC Data Source Administrator and test
the connection to the database I get the following error message:

Open database 'C:\Program Files\OpenLM Server\db\OPENLM_DB.GDB' failed

I browsed to the database to set up the database location on my hard drive
so the database exists.
I have tried it with the database account, password and role all blank and
with values in these fields but always get the error when I try to test
connect.

Can anyone help please?

What about the Firebird server...is it installed on the same pc?..or are you planning to use the embedded version?

fbclient.dll is available? ODBC driver needs it ....
