Setup: openSUSE 9.3, latest JRE and JDK, Firebird installed, unixODBC
I'm having trouble running the install script. I have tried different
methods, and none seem to work:
linux:/tmp/FreeODBC_18.104.22.168 # ./install.sh
More than one Distribution Release file found.
That was with 22.214.171.124. I tried the latest version, and I got even stranger
linux:/tmp/Free_ODBC_Driver/OdbcJdbc/Install/Linux # sh install.sh
: command not found:
'nstall.sh: line 41: syntax error near unexpected token `
'nstall.sh: line 41: `ShowHelp()
I am fairly new to linux. I have tried multiple times unsuccessfully to
install this ODBC driver.
If I need to clean out any files, tell me where and what to delete.

The error you found here is where the script attempts to determine which
Linux Distribution you are using. It seems to have found two, which
Out of interest, do you get when you type this command:
In any case, if you have SuSE 9.3 installed you could just delete the
other release file and try the script again.
