It sounds as if maybe the provider is looking for the C++ runtime DLL and maybe you only installed C# or something? Mark E. Subject: [Firebird-net-provider] missing msvcr70.dll I am trying to install the .NET provider RC2 and it complains I do not have msvcr70.dll installed. I do have .NET SDK 1.1 and .NET Runtime 1.1. Well I installed both .NET 1.1 SDK and .NET SDK Redistributable. I do not have this problem on my home machine which is running .NET Server 2003 RC2. The machine I am having problem with is running Win2k SP3. Only other .NET software on there is SharpDevelop. ""Mark E. I realized it is looking for the 1.0 .NET SDK, which contains the msvcr70.dll. I may need to build it from source and install it that way instead.
