I'm trying to create simple embedded .fdb database using CodeFirst approach of EntityFramework. Nothing special, just 1 simple table and all code is from EF tutorials (http://www.entityframeworktutorial.net/code-first/simple-code-first-example.aspx).
But i got this incomprehensible and weird exception when call db.Database.CreateIfNotExists():

I have been messing around with a code first project using the Firebird Entity Framework Provider 4.9.0, Firebird ADO.NET Data provider 4.9.0 and EntityFramework 6.1.3 with a Firebird 2.5.3 database server. Here is the Git Repo (https://github.com/toddmanchester/FirebirdEF6Test).
I have tried to keep this sample super simple. I want to point out that in my sample borrowed some code from a post about EntityValidationErrors and it work excellent. But did you also set the wirecrypt setting to Enabled instead of the default required (which doesn't work with legacy authentication)? Did you also create a legacy user? The error connection rejected by remote interface however suggests that the server isn't listening on the specified port and ip address or is actively blocked by a firewall. It would be very practical to have a renaming table implementation in the Firebird EF6 migrations.
I'm not talking about real Firebird table rename, just some workaround to drop / create the same table with a new name..

In EF6 migrations, when changing a SMALLINT field to a Bool field, the code generated is :
AlterColumn("Firebird.I_T", "BOOLCOL", c => c.Boolean()) ->
ALTER TABLE "MYTABLE" ALTER COLUMN "BOOLCOL" TYPE SMALLINT CHECK("BOOLCOL" IN (0,1))
This is a invalid format, instead a "Bool" domain should be created
CEATE DOMAIN D_BOOL AS SMALLINT CHECK (VALUE in (0,1));
Then
ALTER TABLE "MYTABLE" ALTER COLUMN "BOOLCOL" TYPE D_BOOL
Also, when doing migrations, if a nullable / non nullable is included, we get :
AlterColumn("Firebird.I_T", "SYS", c => c.Boolean(nullable: false));
ALTER TABLE "I_T" ALTER COLUMN "SYS" TYPE SMALLINT NOT NULL CHECK("SYS" IN (0,1))
Which is not valid neither. Firebird does not support changing null to non null.
Instead it should be
UPDATE RDB$RELATION_FIELDS SET RDB$NULL_FLAG = NULL
WHERE RDB$FIELD_NAME = 'SYS' AND RDB$RELATION_NAME = 'I_T';
ALTER TABLE "I_T" ALTER COLUMN "SYS" TYPE D_BOOL;

Hi,
I'm trying the .NET provider with inheritance (code first).
I created a class A { public Guid id {get; set;} }, from which class B and C inherit. It's TPT inheritance.
When generating the SQL code, both B and C class with have an IX_Id index, which throws an error of "Index IX_Id already exists"
