[Firebird-docs] IIF and CASE use

Good day!

I would like to know if (and how) I can use CASE or IIF in  a SELECT
construction.
My situation is: I have to build up the value of a field in an "insert =
into
from select" based on it's value.

1.  This is not the proper NG (try ib-support)
2.  You can (I think) do this with Fb/1.5 (it has been discussed just 
recently)
3.  Please post in 'plain text'
