Well, definitely we don't handle names with trailing blanks as someone would
expect. The server right trims them. So, an identifier composed of only
blanks will become a zero-length field. From that perspective, since I
already rejected zero-length fields, maybe I should forbid names composed
only of blanks, since they will become trimmed inside the engine. Otherwise,
users that really love bizarre names will find that this fails:
create table very_special(
" " int not null primary key,
" " char(5)
because both fields will become the same inside FB.
Comments, flames, should I hush myself for a full month?
