Again, you don't read my may carefully enough. All you need is to add 2 patches to your source RPM. This is normal practice for packagers and you generally need not to wait until they are included into official B1_5_Release tree. You may probably need to write some Mandrake-specific patches because file placement rules and configuration files markup varies from distribution to distribution. The last time he says : "Ok, alors nous sommes oblig=E9s d'attendre la 1.5.2. Je surveille cela pour tenter de nouveau d=E8s que la nouvelle version sort." in english : "Ok, so we have to wait for the 1.5.2. I keep an eye on it for testing it as soon as this version exist" May be someone else can contact him ? my knowledge in C and RPM is really too weak :( |
