I've set Fire up and it works great when I'm not a work. When I'm at work, however, I'm behind a firewall and can't get Fire to connect to anything. When I use MSN Messenger, I can chat right through the firewall no problem, so I don't think they are explicitly blocking chat. Does anyone have any tips for getting through such things? Is there a port setting I can change? Thanks for any help... ~Israel~ |

You can edit the server/port number directly in the Accounts.plist, which is stored in ~/Library/Application Support/Fire/Accounts.plist. We don't currently have a GUI for editing this in MSN. Yahoo and ICQ do not allow you to override the server/port currently. -Jason -- Have a question?
