I'm proudly announcing that a first ALPHA version of FIPP4L's stage 1 has been released.

The development of the driver has been split into 3 stages:
1. driver uses ports directly using inb/outb, no real-time support
2. driver uses ports via the parport interface, no real-time support
3. driver uses ports via the parport interface, real-time support present

I'm proud to announce that stage 1 is now being developed.
