What is Fin+
Fin+ is a consultancy with a cost effective real-time bespoke design pattern for the Fintech industry with code to go, jump start for your greenfield projects or migration to better solutions making use of existing assemblies.
We are looking for business focused clients, with a keen eye for design and an understanding of the key attributes that save cost, deliver on requirements and provide rapid delivery.
Our goal is to encourage Investment Banks and Fund Managers to move to better products, avoiding obfuscation and Technical Debt.
Your Options
Option 1: Pre-built package very expensive ongoing license costs not owning your own code base means ongoing changes can be costly and slow, wasting existing assemblies, developer expertise with a lengthy approval deployment process that can take over a year.
Option 2: Greenfield no code to go, early siloing no common interface or design pattern, can produce a number of very good but miss-matched solutions of varying quality, testability with poor code reuse.
Option 3: Fin+ beta code to go simple minimal code base with bespoke design pattern for the Fintech industry. No ongoing license cost, normal consultancy fees as per any IT contractor. With the wiki documentation and the initial code base project plans can be put together in days and development can start within weeks.

Background
As an Agile rad developer normally 100% business focused, with over 20 year experience of working with traders across all products areas and business management. What I need to do is focus on delivering products to clients, using a real-time framework which requires minimum fuss with no obfuscation like Fin+ can make a big difference to quality.
Often design is overlooked, third party technologies are chosen and MVVM is the logical choice, some design implementations can add obfuscation and testability is not always guaranteed or delivered.
The key attribute re TDD, Depedency Injection, Function Factories, MVVM, MVC etc is that they encourage a decoupled code base. No solution is more decoupled with greater re-usability, testability than a Component design with universal homogeneous Data Model and Interfaces.
At the whiteboard stage we made a list of key attributes to deliver an industry bespoke Design Pattern.
Agile, core business focus comes first.
Real-time config and query driven.
Scalable config query driven distribution.
Testability at minimum cost.
Auditable, ability to add audits at any point.
Important Note
Both creative content Wiki and code are on open source in the public domain so far 15,000 time-stamped check-ins, you can see this product being built brick by brick, re Git/SVN for our SourceForge/GoogleCode code bases. The advantage of open source code is that you have an indisputable record of creative content and code ownership, we recommend SourceForge and GoogleCode both very good products.
When using open source approach the vendor, they will be excited that you have an interest and your contact gives them a chance to network. More often than not they will waiver public domain requirements which puts open source products outside the reach of institutions. Check the vendors code history to make sure the product did not materialise on day one and ask the vendor for references.
Using open source code and not adhering to the Licenses criminalises all members in your team by association and the institution you work for. If you are working for an institution consider aspects of employee handbook, plagiarism normally leads to employment termination effectively you are taking money from your employer under false pretense. There is no excuse for not following due diligence procedures and failing to respect licenses or validate the vendor.
