Re DataModel and "NoTp" concept.

• MS SQL Server to get the product of the ground.
• Microsoft also offers a number of products like SSIS and SSRS.
• MSS supports Triggers and Transact SQL, with a large professional community of developers.
• MSS compact edition, good for POC small files that can be checked into svn and linked to beta release for demo or used for testing.
• Continuous queries and stored procs can be used to boost performance.

Alternatives

• Riak/mongoDB/NoSQL(not only SQL) databases that might perform better with the concept.
• Gemfire or Coherhance would still need persitant storage, you should try to avoid stacking technology where possible.
• For existing none key value pair databases we can implement adapter classes.

Favoured prod solution would be to Recycle existing KVP trade processing databases re DataModel and port to core concept "NoTp".
