It appears that (among other things), libwmf requires gtk+2-dev to be
installed. That should be a BuildDepends.
Also, the install phase is happening twice, since for some reason 'make
install DESTDIR=%i' is being run in the CompileScript. Usually that's
in the InstallScript, and it uses DESTDIR=%d or prefix=%i. With
DESTDIR=%i, things install in /sw/sw/. There's something very wrong
Strangely enough, I seem to have a perfectly fine copy of libwmf on my
system. Now I'm getting the same errors as you when I try to rebuild.
