ispell is in the unsupported dir of fink, but it works just fine you force it to install (the version is a bit old...) and fix the path for the dictionary.

When it installs the application, it looks for the dictionary in a nonexistent directory that consists of one of the temp install directorys concatenated to the real path.

I fixed it by hand by adding a line to the init.csh file to:
setenv DICTIONARY /applications/toys/fink/lib/english

(to edit the file, I had to sudo pico it).

This should be fixed in ispell-3.2.04-1. Please check again.

No response after two weeks - considering it fixed in the
new version and closing the report.
