There is the option on the menu to "Toggle On/Off FingerText" (presumably for when trigger text is interfering with using the TAB key normally - which is what I was wanting to do). However, when you turn Off FingerText then you can no longer use the TAB key at all! I assume this is because the TAB key is still assigned as the keyboard shortcut for the "Trigger Snippet..." menu item (now disabled).
Either:
When the FingerText is toggled Off/On it also needs to somehow remove/add the menu shortcut for TAB.
Or, when FingerText is turned off, it simply prevents Snippets from being triggered and still passes the TAB character through to the document.
