I'm using FindBugs primarily as a support for enforcing our coding styleguide (and also some other usefull rules). To do so I need to disable the rules "DLS: Dead store to local variable" and "DLS: Dead store of null to local variable". We don't want to remove these issues from our code. I am using FindBugs within the SQE-Plugin for NetBeans. I have checked the config for FindBugs within NetBeans and can't find the switch for these rules. Also using the "Disable Detector" option in the list of issues found by FindBugs disables those rules only until I restart NetBeans. Is there any possiblity to disable these rules permanently?
I'm using NetBeans 6.7 and 6.5.1 and Java 1.6.0_13.
