My bad .. I took the coreplugin.jar from the findbug distribution and not the separate archive, as I read that the plugin is now contained in the distribution.

Any chance of getting a findbugs update site. It makes it easier for me to manage plugin installations for my work colleagues so they don't need a mixture of unzipping and update-siting.

how do I install the plugin -- or rather the needed core jar.
There is no plugin descriptor available for it.
