Replacing JAVA with Zulu (OpenJDK)

Are you planning to replace JAVA.COM with Zulu http://www.azul.com/downloads/zulu/zulu-windows/ (OpenJDK version of Azul System) or with https://github.com/alexkasko/openjdk-unofficial-builds ?

Hello and thank you for asking this question.
Since FAR does not ship with an embedded JRE you can, in theory, use any Java 6 compatible implementation there is. Now in practice my personal experience with OpenJDK where rather disappointing when it comes to Swing (the somewhat outdated Java GUI framework used by FAR).
However the Swing support in OpenJDK might have changed or change in the future and I'd be happy if you care to share your experience here.
Best regards,
Olivier

I installed FAR after http://cdn.azul.com/zulu/bin/zulu8.15.0.1-jdk8.0.92-win_x64.msi on Windows 7 Pro. Far starts and seems to work but I did not test it in details.
Thank you very much for your feedback!
