Description

Finchnotify is a small bash script which is used to notifying the events of finch.
This is actually a modification of the script from RedKrieg's Blog.

-- show a notification when the audio reception from finch

Requirements

-- linux
-- finch and libpurple
-- libnotify
-- mplayer

How to use

• in System
• copy 'icons' and 'plugins' folders to '~/.purple'
• in Finch
• set menu 'Actions->Sounds->Method' to 'Command'
• set 'Sound Command' to 'sh /home/user/.purple/plugins/finchnotify.sh'
  'user' compensation for your user name and you must write a full pathname!

Known bugs

-- problems with viewing the contacts if name contains a colon
