Dear Internet Demo Server Users,
FINA server use ports 4444 and 1098. After investigation we obtained that some ISP s (Internet Service Providers) and Organizations have closed these ports, especially 4444 is closed very often. There for FINA demo Internet client works not from all locations. We know hat it works from:
. Georgia (Government Organization);
. Ireland (Private Company);
. Turkey (Ata-Turk AirPort);
. Israel (Ben-Gurion Airport, Barak );
. USA (several places where tested);
. Senegal (Home User)
. India ( Home user)
. Kyrgyzstan
.Tajikistan
However it does not work from some private networks protected by firewalls, for example:
. Private Company in Georgia - firewall configuration does not allow ports 4444
. Italy - reason was Local Firewall Configuration, admin closed port 4444
. Sheba Hospital in Israel - Hospital admin closed port 4444
To solve the problem we can reconfigure System and assign other ports, but we need to know most safe ports which will not be close by security officers and/or ISPs. If you have any suggestion please feel free to send e-mail or publish it on discussion forum under this article.
