#17 Save-As TIFF Fails (intermittent)

I am sometimes unable to Save-As TIFF. I get:
filmgimp fatal error: sigsegv caught

A "Stack Trace" reports:
unable to fork gdb: Cannot allocate memory

This seems unrelated to any particular image or proceedure.
Closing filmgimp and running it again, using the same
original image file and the same proceedures works
fine. I've had this problem in filmgimp-0.9 and
