#8 Drag and drop sluggish on large archives

I have a large (> 100Meg) tar.bz2 archive.

Drag and drop from the archive is almost unusable, as
files are extracted at the beginning of the drag,
rather than at the drop.

This means many seconds of waiting for files to be
extracted from the archive before I can drop them where
I want them to be.
