Adding a directory to File list

Use File-> Add directory menu or Directory + button attached to file-list. Browse to the required directory in the pop up dialog. All files/directories in the chosen directory are processed and added to the list. Added entries are mixed with previous entries in the file list and sorted.

Opening/ Adding an existing File list

Use File-> Open/ Add List menu or File + button attached to file-list. Browse and locate the required file in the pop up dialog. All the entries in the chosen list are processed and added to the list. Added entries are mixed with previous entries in the file-list and sorted.

**Saving A List **

To save a list, use Save and Save As menus or corresponding buttons in the file-list tab.

Comparison Mode

If selected in view menu, it will show two file-list tabs to which you can independently add directories/ file lists

Differences

Viewing difference between two lists is possible if comparison mode is selected. Check View->Differences menu. This will show only those entries which does not have same generalized name.

Only Titles
Checking View->Only Titles will show only the generalized name and it will hide the path and other data.

Copying files in a list

To copy files, select the required files in the file-list tab, make sure that the required list is selected in the File menu and click Tools->Copy Selected. This will show a window to select the destination directory. On selecting the destination, copying begins and status is shown at the bottom of file list tab.

In comparison mode, if you are using menu items for list operations, choose the correct file-list, first or second, from the file menu. If you are using buttons on the top of each list, you can do operations independent of which list is selected in the file menu
