Bruce--
I use the "typedown" function in FileCaddy as well as many other Palm
applications. I found FileCaddy's implementation to be confusing at first
because it was non-standard -- typically (i.e., in other Palm OS
applications that I have used), typedown is implemented as
case-insensitive, first letter only as opposed to FileCaddy's
case-sensitive, "cumulative" approach. When attempting to locate a file on
my device, I do not necessarily know the case that the developer chose to use:
* most (but not all...) application names begin with an uppercase letter
* many PQAs begin with a lowercase letter
* system files and databases can begin with either upper- or lowercase
I was simply letting Dave and Matthew know that the change made for this
release does not work as advertised...
