I've been trolling through FreshMeat and SourceForge for hours looking for something, and the static version of this script comes the closest.
This is a really terrific script!
What I'm looking for is a way to provide WYSIWYG editing of some HTML template files that sit inside of a template folder. I need a simple login to protect the files, but beyond that just a way to fire up TinyMCE or something similar in the Edit window.
Thanks

If you would like to refer to this comment somewhere else in this project, copy and paste the following link:
One curious thing I found was the edit function doesn't have a way to back out or go back to the folder.
The "Edit" button at the bottom should be labeled "Save Changes", and a "Cancel" button should be added.
After you hit the "Edit" button, there's STILL no way to get back to the folder you were in. I clicked the link that was displayed and got an error message saying I did something wrong. It said, "Maybe you wanted to go HERE?" with a link. I clicked it and it let me view the file -- but not the file I was editing. Again, no way to get back the folder I was in when I clicked the "Edit" button.
Note that I have the script configured to run in the root, so when you click the "Home" button it does take you to where you expect. But if I set it to run in the folder where the files live, then it's not "home". It's "folder".
So perhaps that "Home" button could be "Folder".
Or, allow those button labels to be configured. (?)
