File Labs is a free, open-source dual-pane file manager for Windows 11.
Two panes with tabs on both sides, folder sizes in the list, and Quick View on Space for images, video, audio, PDF, text, zip listings and fonts.
Copies and moves go through its own engine. It scans first, so the totals and every conflict are known before the first byte moves; every conflict is answered once, in one list (keep both, replace if newer, replace, skip); then the transfer runs without stopping to ask, with a live speed chart, pause and cancel. Each copy can be verified against its source with xxHash3.
File Labs can take over as the default file manager for folders, drives and Win+E, for your user only, and hands the role back when you switch it off.
Per-user installer. No account and no telemetry; the only connection it makes is an update check on GitHub. MIT licence.
