Hello, my friend, is it possible to specify the program that it is distributed BSD license?
This program is designed to search for text it is in the source code files? I have a task to search for specific text in Russian in the document files. I can give a link to a very handy tool with closed source. I like him, and since I am a fan of open source, I would like to take the best from that program and make your. Here is a link to the program with closed source to find text in files.
also I want to say that I have again bvli problems with the program. First, try to find the Russian text in the document, it is not found. Then he tried to find the English text in a text file, but it seemed to me that she did not even try to find.
Hi there
Yes this is distributed under a BSD license :)
I'm suprised it's not working with Russian text! I had assumed Qt would have supported that with no issue.
The first thing I would suggest trying is making sure Match Case and Match Whole Words are NOT checked.
EDIT: I just saved your homepage content to a text file on my desktop, and fif found the text I specified

It's strange, but I have the English word he finds in a text file, and no Russian.
Is it possible in the next version, in the window "about" specify the license?
I know there are a few issues with the searching; this is quite a young application - I haven't ironed out all the oddities yet.
I normally include the license file in the zip - it looks like I've not done that this time!
