Hi all. I've just registered the project with sourceforge (obviously), and look forward to developing this. I've just begun coding, but it should proceed fairly rapidly, given extensive pseudocode design. At this point, the project is still very pre-alpha and it may be several months (if not more) before any release is out resembling the final project. While the goal of this project is to create a cross-platform game, our initial stable release will focus on Linux. Furthermore, we'll initially focus on the single-player campaign, though we hope to eventually add multiplayer PVP as well as Co-op. Once this is completed, I'd like to extend the game to OS X/Windows. On a related note, if you're interested in helping with Mac development/testing eventually, please contact me, as I don't have access to one and thus am really limited to Windows/Linux.... read more
