I have local university work to do at the same time, so I might not be able to
take the course, especially the Advanced one with exams. I encourage anybody
interested in AI and the fheroes2 project who has the time to seriously
consider taking on Stanford University's Online AI course to give it a go, and
share with us what you've learned! =)
Best regards,
Steven.

I hope you figure that "game AI" and "real AI" are two different things ;-).
Besides, suggesting such courses here is dangerous - those who take them might
lose interest in games forever, and instead go doing real thing ;-).

Well, I guess I figured that real AI could be used for game AI too. =) But if
you think it is better not to talk about an Online AI course on this project's
forums, then I would consider removing this thread. :-)
(Games are important too you know!)
Best regards,
Steven.

No, I don't mean that of course ;-). But I guess it would be more useful to
collect links to game AI libraries/articles instead (the to review them for
applicability to fheroes2, then ...). Here's one I saw recently for example http://www.unknown-horizons.org/devblog/47/114/How-the-settlement-AI-
works/

There is an open online AI course being held by Stanford University, which can
be taken in Basic or Advanced Modes.

Has anyone signed up to do this course? I'd be interested as to how it goes!

I have signed it. I think real AI it's aplicable to emulated world, maybe not
equal but it can be as same thinking.
