Can you help me understand and possibly fix, the error I am getting with
FGRUN. I have gone onto various bulletin boards and asked for advice but
none coming at the moment.
I've recently installed / upgraded to Ubuntu 10.04 Lucid 64bit (clean
install), with all available updates as of Friday May 14 2010. As well
as installed FlightGear 2.0 via PlayDeb, all working great. But my
problem is now I am trying to install FGRUN v1.5.2 and I have an error.
I installed all necessary dependencies, fltk (1.1.10-2), plib (22.214.171.124),
opengl (freeglut 2.6.0ubuntu2), Openscengraph (2.9.7) and Simgear
(126.96.36.199~getdeb1), and in the order given, installed through Synaptics,
getdeb, or downloaded tarball and compiled, no errors indicated as I
have pre-installed all other dependencies to create a sane system, on
the installation of Lucid. FlightGear still runs fine with fgfs and
command line flags.
On starting fgrun I get the following error message, I've tried
everything to fix, run in admin mode, checked the libosg files and the
symbolic links to them. I suspect I am either missing an important
library, or I have uncovered a bug.
"fgrun: symbol lookup error: /usr/local/lib64/libosg.so.63: undefined
Thanks for any help in advance.
