If a hotspot is set the driver continuous to recognizes a tab in the
adjusted hotspot area so scrolling is interrupted by a tab action. For
a given hotspot area any tab recognition should be disabled.
Not sure its really a bug. It was intended to work this way
when programmed. It probably should be another in the
already many options available for hotspots. It should be
simple enough to add it as an option.

Scrolling is definitely not interrupted by the tap action. As tawsi says this
is intended behaviour; it works exactly like this in Sidetrack too.
It's already an option inside the driver, so I will update the preference pane
at some point to make it an option there too.
