Hello,

i've just tried the experimental Vertex Shader on my
ATI Radeon 8500LE (it's like the 8500, just a bit
slower). The result was... colorful, the computation is
really fast, but it does not look right. I've attached
a screenshot, hope it helps. The version of FFFF is 3.2.0

Greetings,
Simon

    This is not a bug.
    When calculating using the GPU (VP or FP) there is no early
    exit (nor jumps or compares), so that any pixel is iterated the
    same number of times (always maxiters).
    Thus, the final pixel color cannot depend on the number of
    pixel iterations (because it's the same for all the pixels);
    instead the pixel color is computed by a math formula on the
    final complex value.
    This formula produces the results in the snapshot (could
    actually be ___slightly___ different depending on the GPU).
