Hello,

I am using 2003-01-03 release and most of my divx and
some xvid movies are strangely green. I've searched the
web for this problem and found out that elderly versions
also have the same problem. I looked but couldn't find it
as a reported/solved bug.

Is there a solution for this or would there be a recent
update/patch for this pretty important problem?

Regards,

Yeah - I have the same Problem, but only with some DivX 3 and 5.
All rests of old codecs are deinstalled.
Any Idea what it could be?

I'm having the same problem now. Green movies, I don't know
if all of them are but the ones I tested.

I haven't changed any settings in ffdshow, it has worked fine
for a long time. I'm using the newest alpha-release.

I have the postprocessing filter at maximum and tried to take
it off and all, everything is still green :(

    Weird..

I'm the author of the previous message, registered my self.

It indeed isn't all the codecs, xvid is definitely screwed, all
green. Some DivX are green, some aren't. Many divx works fine
    though.

I'd really like to know why this is. ffdshow has been
    magnificent codec so far :/

Hmm, now every codec seems to work flawlessly after a
    reboot.

    Quite weird indeed.. :)

I have the same problem with 16 bit color depth and and video
renderer VMR-7 (VMR-9 and overlay mixer are OK - you can
choose specific video renderer in Media Player Classic - I
don't know how to change system default). With 32bit color
    depth everything is OK.

    Hello!
I'm have some problem. Only in ffdshow20030103 in any
combination of other codecs. I think, putting the colour from
16 to 32 bit - is not correct fixation of problem, if you have
any slow computer, i'm now use older version...
    Bug... :-(((

I had this green-video problem again, it came out of the blue.
I didn't change anything, it had worked for months and then
    everything was green again.

But after searching google thoroughly I FOUND THE FINAL
    SOLUTION WHICH WORKS. IT WORKS.

With any FFDshow you might use, in the "Codecs" screen
there are color spaces available and checked. Uncheck YV12
colorspace and bye bye green picture.

    :)
