I've configured MPC-HC to let ffdshow bitsream the DD+ audio to receiver. But this does not work. Instead ffdshow ends up decoding the audio to lpcm (instead of bitstreaming).
Note: this issue does not happen with Dolby TrueHD, DTS HD-HR, DTS HD-MA, or regular DD5.1 / DTS tracks. All these tracks bistream perfectly to a/v receiver over HDMI. The issue is only specific to Dolby Digital Plus audio.
Also Note: DD-Plus audio bitsreams perfectly fine to a/v receiver through PowerDVD 10/11 without issues. So this must be a ffdshow specific issue.
