Hello everybody, I'm trying to get an FA-66 up and running and have some stability problems. I don't get any xruns but get sporadic drop-outs in the audio. After running jack with verbose I see I get these messages firewire MSG: xrun detected And with context load = 1.8896 max usecs: 1595.000, spare = 83738.000 load = 1.8817 max usecs: 1599.000, spare = 83734.000 firewire MSG: xrun detected client event poll on 47 for MPlayer [2412] starts at 3153546496 back from client event poll after 56 usecs load = 1.8795 max usecs: 1602.000, spare = 83731.000 My first question would be what this message means? Trouble with the firewire connection? I tried exchanging the cable... According to ffado-diag I'm running the new stack. Kernel is currently 2.6.38-5-lowlatency #32~ppa1-Ubuntu. The hardware is a few years old macbook, lspci has the following line about the firewire interface. 03:03.0 FireWire (IEEE 1394): Agere Systems FW322/323 (rev 61) Haven't tried the old stack, guessing that is a good next step if I can get it running?
