i've heard rumours that the firewire option for the onyx mixer works.
last time i heard, the satellites were not supported (yet).
maybe others can comment on this as well?

generally, we aim to get that kind of support from vendors, as a genuine
token of interest in linux support, and many vendors have indeed
provided engineering samples of their hardware. but if that doesn't
happen for some reason, your device might be helpful. but unfortunately
the ffado developer community is very small, and i know that at least
the lead developer, pieter palmers, is currently running on a tight
schedule and i'm pretty sure he won't be able to work on your device
anytime soon...

if not, there is always the option to ebay it off and purchase a device
that's already supported. if you're going to take that route, join the
ffado-user mailing list and write up a summary of the features and
channel count you need, and people will be able to recommend devices to you.
