Its been slow moving on this one, mainly because I have to squeeze in the
time until work calms down. Until yesterday, I hadn't had a chance to work
on it since new years (which was alot of fun ; )
I think I've sorted most of the config file issues, though maybe some tweaks
may help. However, I also have been getting really caught up on ffado-test
Discover, since I cannot seem to get the digraph output to print to stdout.
I just debug output to stderr. By setting v to 6, I got some more useful
output, and I was able to start piecing together what I thought would form
the basis of the mixer, but it turned out to be less than I had hoped. I did
scrape the output and pieced togther a spreadsheet with the fb addresses,
types, etc, although I can't for the life of me find where on the site there
was another table like that.
Also, I can't seem to find where to upload the firmware info, and what I do
have on the avc model. Maybe I'm just even more blind than I thought.
On a brighter note, I took day off of work yesterday and went to local
hackerspace to work on this and succeeded in getting jackd to run with the
firewire backend without xruns. i fired up ardour and started playing
through a session and all seemed to be going well....except I didn't bring
headphones and i wasn't able to find any at the space.
Im planning on taking another day off of work next week to play with this,
and maybe i'll tinker over the weekend, but if anyone has any insights,
suggestions they could offer before then, it would be greatly appreciated.
all the best,
