The other thing that's worth noting on the side is that Linux users are not
the only ones experiencing difficulties with pro-audio interfaces these
days. Especially with machines built in the last 12 months, there are quite
a few reports of people across the whole gamet of operating systems who
cannot operate their external interfaces as they would like even though
their machine on paper should be more than capable of it. Like us, there
are those for which things work fine and those for which things are totally
broken. It all boils down to the mainboard and how the various components
I'm not suggesting that this is the cause of any one particular person's
problem. It's simply an observation that this "hit and miss" affair is not
isolated to Linux in general or ffado specifically.
