As many of you know, Christiaan is at the Open Repositories conference
in Texas at the moment and I have been away from work with an injury
to my hand. So progress on Fez is a bit slow right now. I think there
is just one more major change in Fez 1.3 and maybe a small bugfix or
two before it can be released (the major change will be solving an
issue to do with the index and how it deals with metadata which
references a PID number such as RELS-EXT). Other than that, I have
added a way to make Fez index a whole fedora repository if it already
has many records in it. There will be a few known bugs in Fez 1.3
that will require some 'major surgery' to resolve but we've started on
getting a reliable upgrade path so that you can upgrade to 1.3 and
then relatively painlessly keep upgrading as we add things to the
software and fix bugs.
For those of you who have un-answered questions, I will also try to
answer your emails from last week in the next few days.
