Are you certain the server is configured to run as the correct user/group w=
ith full access to the fez app files? I have seen this issue when, say for=
example, the server is configured to run within the group "apache" but the=
running process or even PHP is running from group "users" or some other gr=
oup that does not have full R/W/X permissions on the fez app files.
1) check the user/group your Apache process is running under,
2) check the user/group of the filies under your fez instance - the permiss=
ions/user/group should be the same for all files and should match up with t=
he settings in 1),
3) check all of your installation files and make sure they're where you exp=
ect them to be with the right permissions.

Subject: [Fez-users] Smarty error
Am currently testing a new fez installation, and keep on receiving=20
the following error when traversing the "Manage Document Type XSD"=20
part of Admin -
"Warning: Smarty error: unable to read resource: "offline.tpl.html"=20
in /usr/local/apache2/htdocs/fez/include/Smarty/Smarty.class.php on line 11=
Once this error happens, the only way to continue using fez is to=20
reboot; just restarting tomcat and apache won't do the trick.
