I intend to build the FEval library
on top of <a href="http://scipy.sourceforge.net">SciPy</a>. This has several
benefits:
<ul>
<li>everything included (requires no additional install of Numeric</li>
<li>well supported (Multipack is deprecated)</li>
</ul>
