Oh sorry, trying to do my best on the go with iOS mail :/ Hope this is better even though not quoting this time anyways... I just wanted to ask if the reason can really be the server employing short timeouts. Timeouts seem rather reasonable: I noticed that *exactly* every 200mins I receive the socket error (except for the additional errors in the time slots around the IP reconnect). I would still say that this is expected as eventually every server will disconnect on their side. Or do you mean that fetchmail should actively reconnect every 30mins by default?
