One more thing, it would seem that <https://tools.ietf.org/html/rfc4549>
"Synchronization Operations for Disconnected IMAP4 Clients" is a useful
reference for the disconnected use (only that we probably would not
normally have offline client uploads pending because fetchmail only
synchronizes in one direction).
