Ah, yes. Although I don't "immediately delete". I often access email with Thunderbird, too, seems better to not delete immediately, dunno. I find imap more reliable with gmail and fetchmail. With 'pop3' it is more difficult to detect seen mail, it is possible to fetch again thousands of past mails.
