Feature Request #4318, was updated on 2008-Sep-22 08:58 You can respond by visiting: http://developer.berlios.de/feature/?func=detailfeature&feature_id=4318&group_id=1824 Category: None Status: Open Priority: 5 Summary: add --forceRETR option By: jas67 Date: 2008-Sep-22 08:58 Message: Logged In: YES user_id=48008 Browser: Mozilla/5.0 (X11; U; Linux i686; en-US; rv:1.9.0.1) Gecko/2008071615 Fedora/3.0.1-1.fc9 Firefox/3.0.1 Comcast is still using Maillenium, but no longer displays the banner that triggers fetchmail to force use of RETR instead of TOP. I would like to not use --fetchall, but still force RETR. I have added this to my own copy of fetchmail, and am using it. Here is a link to my patch to the production 6.3.8 code: http://gdx.dynalias.com/fetchmail_comcast_patch I would love to have this feature added, so that I do not need to patch future versions. Plus, I'm sure there are lots of comcast users out there wondering why they are no getting truncated attachments.
