There's more than one way to skin a cat. Using a gmail account allows google to skim out around 50% of spam that comes to me. Using gmail's forwarding facility the remaining messages are then sent to my ISP account. Used this way you get a real benefit, and fetchmail doesn't have to talk to gmail at all. Anne |
