[fetchmail-users] Disable TLS

Hi,

As I was trying to investigate "socket error" problems, I decided to 
sniff the IMAP connection between fetchmail and the server. To do so, I 
removed the ssl keyword from my fetchmailrc file. To my surprise, I 
still see fechmail issue a STARTTLS command after the OK CAPABILITY 
response. Is this normal? Is so, how can I disable encryption?
