I emailed recently about fetchmail not getting my gmail. 
What I finally did was deleting all my mail and then just keeping
whatever came into the box for fetchmail to get. 

Today at 14:45 this happened again. I get this message in my mail log
that says
May 25 16:48:44 wadesmart fetchmail[25764]: 14 messages (14 seen) for
wad...@gm... at pop.gmail.com (67845 octets). 

Of the fourteen, 12 are new, 2 are old. So it shouldnt be seeing 14. 

I also added "recent" to my login info as Gerard suggested. It did seem
to work but now...

Any more ideas? I am looking at sending google a email asking if they
have any ideas. 

To me it seems that the number of emails isnt being counted correctly. I
just do not know why.
