[fetchmail-devel] SASL PLAIN support

This is more user question than developer, but technical so sent it to
devel list:

I cant find anything about SASL PLAIN authentication method from
fetchmail man pages. I also tried to search sourcecode but cant find
anything.
Is there "SASL PLAIN" authentication support in fetchmail?

That would be nice and relly _usefull_ to include it. Some times (pop3)
servers are configured to accept only SASL PLAIN and prevent USER/PASS
authentication.
