Summary: 6.3.5 doesn't preserve logging fd

Details: 6.3.4 to 6.3.5 changes in daemon.c had a screw up that forced logging fd to 0 (being /dev/null) if opening the logfile *succeeded*; which is contrary to the intention there ;)
