The fetchmail repository at mknod.org uses the new fsfs repository type, and therefore shouldn't see any problems like we did in the past. (The repository format has been switched since the commit mails stopped.) I'd like to get you and Rob switched over to the new access method well before I disable HTTP Subversion access. If we see any problems in that time period that we can't solve, I'm more than happy to continue running the HTTP service as needed.
